There were years when silence felt safer than sound; years when I learnt to breathe under the weight of “do this, become that, try something else.” Yet even in the hush, the image kept knocking inside my chest.

I realised that art wasn’t asking me to be perfect. It was asking me to be honest. To be seen. To be heard. To be felt. To let the truth I was carrying take form and ultimately, to take me back home.
That is where my leadership began: not on a stage, but in the quiet decision to stop abandoning my soul.
